About Me

Lauren Duncanson is a bold and multi-faceted performer, recently moved to NYC. Lauren grew up in Los Angeles, California which sparked her love for performing at a very young age. While in LA, Lauren has performed as a backup singer and dancer for televised charity events with artists including Andra Day, Debbie Allen, and Chance the Rapper, working and training with award winning choreographers such as Mandy Moore and Brian Friedman. Since then, Lauren has been performing consistently and diligently honing her craft over the years in a wide range of styles of acting, theatre, voice, dance, and movement.

Lauren’s most recent professional credits include lead roles in the productions of The Girl Who Cried Different, Sugar, and Hijas (Daughters) in The Finger Lakes New Works Festival.

Lauren Duncanson graduated with her BFA from the Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in May 2025. She recently starred as Sandra in the staged premiere of Blunted Daggers by Dani Stoller, and served as the Intimacy Captain. She has been seen at Ithaca College in Momentum: A Dance Concert, Bailiff in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and recently acted in Fever/Dream, holding the roles of Intimacy, Fight, and Dance Captain. Lauren has also appeared and starred in many films with the Ithaca College Park School and student-led theatre productions, in addition to making her professional film debut last year in Zia Anger's "My First Film".

Lauren is now based in New York pursuing opportunities in musical theatre, film/tv and more! She has full availability for upcoming projects.
